Justifying Garaje Productions

Z: I normally ask this as a starter when interviewing a production so the readers would have an idea of the production. Eeya, Can you tell me something about your productions? Or may I say Productions?

Eeya: Ok yung garaje production nagstart siya ng last year. hindi ko matandaan kung August or September kasi at the same time my gig din ako sa dalawa ko pang prods., yung isa kong prod kase like what i've said mga beginners ang priority so kadalasan mga emo ang line up tas yung isa is pure metal.

Z: Can you tell me the names of the other productions?

Eeya: Yung reserved production and mood101 production

Z: What music does this 2 more productions cater?

Metal lagi ang line up and kadalasan mga friends din namin ng partner ko ang nakaline up.

Z: Why produce shows? Are you in a band? What made you decide on putting up a production?

Eeya: Because of underground music.

Z: When did you start ticket selling/remittance?

Z: Okay to be sure I got it correctly; you never had the bands sell tickets to play?

(Hahaha)

Z: So give me a straight answer, you have never had bands sell tickets or have them remit an amount?

Z: Ticket selling - required to sell tickets, if not sold, they have to pay for the tickets.

Remit - Have bands pay an amount for them to play.

Eeya: Ahh, ok ok got it. Big NO NO. On ticket selling.

Z: And Remit?

Eeya: Regarding remit. So walang kwenta ang remit.

Z: How long did this process run for the production? Did it happen just once? What month did this happen?

Joke!! Wala lang ni-require ko talaga siya I think December last year or January this year. Pero ayun hindi effective.

Z: Why didn’t it turn out effective? Can you tell me what happened to that gig?

Z: How did you learn about having bands remit or require the bands to sell tickets just to play?

Zsa: Ah okay, it's just one gig? That’s it? It never happened again?

Z: Did you ever feel guilty doing it?

Z: How did you find out about the link http://filipinometal.com/fuckyou/?

Z: What were your initial reactions when you found out that one of your productions were on the list?

Eeya: Shocked and na-depress.

Z: You probably know why you were listed right? Whether it was a one time thing, or it happened more than once, you know why you were added on the list. That is because you had bands remit Php 300 on a gig.

Z: Commenting where specifically?

Z: How did bands and others treat your production when the issue of your production surfaced? Any story you’d like to share about it?

Z: How about the bands you told to remit?

Z: Since you are now admitting that it only happened once, and clearing the fact that it was not a scheme you normally do on your production, do you have any plans of supporting us on our cause?

Eeya: Hindi ko pa alam kung pano. Paano ba? Willing akong sumuporta.

Z: Now, the best part producers love.

What are your thoughts or comments about the people behind the cause and the infamous scum list?

Eeya: Balak ko talaga di magpakilala eh. Siguro wala namang masama sa mga pinaglalaban and you have all the right para magsalita pero in a professional way kasi may mga nababasa ako na bad words na ginagamit.

Z: You probably know that we practice freedom of speech, and you probably know that it's how we express ourselves. If you have read some other comments, you would probably have an idea why we hate the people behind these scum productions.

Eeya: Yeah, I know or hindi lang siguro ako sanay na makabasa or makarinig ng ganun.

Z: I see, we appreciate that.

Eeya: Matagal ko na gustong i-explain yung side ko and ang kinatakot ko is yung makatanggap ng ganung mga words.

Z: No, it’s not done that way; it really depends on the person we are talking to. Others really don't deserve respect. An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth.

Thank you Eeya of Garaje Productions.

Yes. It really feels good to know that what we are doing has good results. Some may be bad, but its the challenge.

Hmm... Just curious lang po, how is a Production added to the Scum List? Kasi from this example, it seems na hindi man lang natanong ung side ng Production after "maisumbong" nung band/s na nagpa-remit sila.

Just asking lang po. I am not against your cause (heck, I support it). Just curious with the process how Prods are added. :)

Thanks!

ganito un. pag may nagsumbong sa amin about sa prod gagawin namin hahanap kami ng proof most of the times sa posters palang huli na ng mag un. o kaya tamang tanong lang kami kunwari magpapa line up sa gig to get the details...

kaya go fishing for scum prods para maubos na sila... HAPPY FISHING!

bakit di nyo na lang puntahan yung prod and investigate further with direct contact sa involved na prod?

solid proof kasi kung mahuhuli nyo sa akto di ba (ala bitag) kung totoo talaga ang "tip" sa inyo. mas fair and credible naman di hamak yun kesa through online investigation lang. sa dami kasi ng nagsusumbong, you'll never know how credible those reports are not unless you've seen them personally with your own eyes.

just my 2 cents. I support free to play.

Nothing beats text messages telling us to remit once we act like new bands starting up. SAD BUT TRUE. Visiting their gigs wont even get us anywhere sometimes, better that we go through all the new bands process. and that is:

1. Text the production and request for line up
2. Ask for rules they have on their prod.
3. ask for the remit amount.
4. KABOOM.
